For one week, only competitors participating in the two official PC tournaments (Quake 3 1v1 and CS 1.6 Team) are able to register online for the Championship Finals. The BYOC area will be relatively small, therefore competitors bringing practice computers to the event must select "BYOC" during the registration to avoid issues during check-in.

The "BYOC-only" registration (for registrants bringing their computers to the event but not participating in any official tournaments) will open Thursday, August 17th, 2006 @ 1:00PM Central. Spectator passes will be available a week later.

Admission is only 30$ per person. This is the lowest admission price for a CPL event since 1998! The CPL thanks its primary sponsors: AMD, ATI, Pizza Hut, BenQ, Plantronics, Razer and Insomnia365 for making it possible to offer this special admission price.

The CPL® 2006 Championship Finals will take place Wednesday, December 13 to Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Dallas.
