After a week long of awsome matches being played and some unexpected outcomes, we come to the point to play the finals. The upcomming matches will decide who can call himself the winner of the Cyberfight Invite 1on1 UT2003 tournament.

There are two finals to be played. The Winnerbracket finals and the Loserbracket finals. The following players are in the finals:

Winnerbrackets:
Lauke vs Daddy

Lauke played good as always in this tournament. Altho he is busy catching in with his school and exams next week, he shows that he can still play the game at his top. Lauke is one of the favorites to win this tournament. Altho he had some nice and close matches with lod2k on Ironic and even closer matches against kiLLu on Ironic and Campgrounds he hasn't lost a single match.
Daddy is the opponent for lauke in the winnerbracket finals. Daddy also has some nice games in this tournament. His match vs Zeta became a 3 mapper because Zeta ownd Daddy on Campgrounds with 20:5. His match vs povi in the semifinals was also very close. 5:4 on Campgrounds and 11:8 on ironic.
My bet goes to lauke. Daddy had some close calls in this tournament by winning some maps with just a few frags. Nevertheless this match should be really interresting to watch.

Loserbrackets:
kiLLu vs Varagh

kiLLu is also one of the favorites to win this tournament. Ironically kiLLu has to face this tournament two of his opponents twice. In the winnerbrackets he won from th0r and in the quarterfinals he won from Varagh. In the semifinals kiLLu lost against Lauke so he had to move to the loserbrackets where he had to face th0r for the second time. He won this pretty big (20:1 on compressed and 29:4 on Campgrounds). kiLLu has a really killer instinct. Now he has to face Varagh for the second time also in the finals of the loserbrackets. Last time kiLLu played Varagh he won also big from him (16:-1 on Compressed and 17:5 on Campgrounds).
Varagh showed some nice matches throughout the tournament. Winning from players like Zeta, Funk and povi this player is someone to look out for. He had some really close matches against all 3 of these players. But I think Varagh doesn't have what it takes to win from a player like kiLLu.

So to sum it all up:

Lauke will win from daddy in 2 maps. kiLLu will do the same with Varagh. kiLLu has then have to face his clanmate Daddy to decide who goes to the grandfinal against lauke. I heard from one of my sources that kiLLu always win from Daddy online, so according to that we have a Lauke vs kiLLu Grandfinal, wich will be awsome to spectate on UTV.

We got some really nice matches tonight, can't wait when they begin. Matches will start around 19:00 CET
