It was a very good game. Lexer had a lucky spawn and used it very well. I can say he was the only 'old player' who didn't disapoint us. He fought Daler like he was a veteran, a teacher... Very nice game and he really did made me proud.

Fun Game to Watch
I tell you something, LeXer seems like he is having fun in this match.

I saw the game live thanks to the folks at GTV and QuakeCon2002. I was shocked by that opening display, like a boy waiting to give his good friend a spray of water from the garden hose. LeXer loaded up lightning, mega, rockets and red armor, then he hustled over to the round wall under the rail walkway. His exurberance sporting and good: There he laid in wait for Daler (the Railer) to come bounding across for his favorite toy, the rail. Watching it live was surprising, because i have never seen such a well executed play. But watching the demo I began to see the playful and cheery side of LeXer. Nice touch there Lexi ...

I watch demo action skirmishes in slow motion, setting '/timescale .4' or /timescale .6 ... This is better than instant replay on national television sporting events.

I must say, I loved that shot!

One of my favorite of all time Quake III Arena shots, and in a championship tournament, nice.

It is one thing to be in position for a shot, it is another to execute. And LeXer does this with good skill.

There was Daler at the precipice of the jump, then he sees LeXer. Whoops, too late... There is that lightning gun, like water spray in the face. Daler drops and is scurrying to get away, and is backed into the corner under the rail. Quickly, he fires a couple of rockets to disrupt his nimble foe. But LeXer, true to his playful and cheery spirit, jumps over them as they hit the floor. To finish, LeXer pulls the machine gun and with two pellets, the first frag is his and he practically tears off to get in position for his next play.

Nice opening. A pleasure to watch a second and third time. There are other great (and playful) shots in this demo. I rate it at the top because LeXer is having fun, in a championship match. Winning 20,000$ should be fun, and LeXer seems to be making some 'twenty thousand dollar shots' in this game.

I think he saved some of his best moves for last. Nice game LeXer.

Did I say rocket, i meant plasma. What was i thinking ... loaded up lightning, mega, red armor and plasma, then hustled over to the round wall under the rail walkway.

Still, it was very clever positioning.

How about that shot where he got Daler on his way up the bounce pad to rocket. He used lightning on that one. Wow what position. And a good execution on the shot.

Nice Alexei. Good game. = )

Several demos that I downloaded have the bug that the other player are invisible.(included this grand final)
Why this occurs?
Can someone post a reply for helping me?
