CPL's Pentium® 4 Processor Summer Championship 2002

The event will take place in the 40,000-square-foot Marsalis Hall at the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel, starting Saturday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 24, 2002. Game played is by the way Counter-Strike 1.5 with an impressive $ 25,000 cash prize for the winner, total cash prizes is around $ 100,000 for the tournament. There will be also BYOC tournaments, Workshops, Exhibition Area, Spectator Arena and Music Concert ( o/ ). The event is anounced as a really impressive tournament with top european clans facing top us clans.

European Clans :
- mortalTeamwork : In the favourites teams we have mTw, recent winner of LA7 and EuroCup 5, even if not all people think they can win this event, they have to show to this guys that they can do it. They have experience, skill and serious teamplay.
Line-up : Ide (cracken) - Mohr (hazz) - Tiihonen (koj) - Hering (giant) - Heyenga (ash)

- GameOnline : GoL finished 4th at LA7, they played close games at paris with a strong Element, they can reach a good place.
Line-up : Persson (Gozie) – Eriksson (Mson) – Carlund (Hyb) – Carlund (Souledge) – Moum (Element)

- Nordic Division : ND have really skilled players like ScreaM and ahl, but they have now to create a strong teamplay to face off experienced line-ups, but no doubt they will do it.
Line-up : Ryman (vesslan) – Carneborn (Swift) – Korduner (ahl) – forsberg (brunk) – roth (ScreaM)

- Team SpaceBar (ex-Meredia) : SpaceBar are not waited as a potential winner but they have no preasure and so they can maybe create the surprise and reach a good place with a Knoxville in a good day.
Line-up : Vikan (Bsl) - Hovden (Damien) - Dehli (Knoxville) - Olaisen (Naikon) - Rekkedal (Starwatch)

- Infinity-eSports : They are less strong than the others but wait and see :)
Line-up : Kwak (Darth) - Harriman (lil) - Wright (Grim) - Mangiacapra (Liquid) - Lucking (DanFrag) - Edwards (Renegade)

- Schroet Kommando Scandinavia : The last euro top clans. SK.sca are favourites, they were not good at LA7 but they have now a better teamplay. They have star players who can do the difference at any times. I think they will be Top2.
Line-up : Christensen (HeatoN) - Johannessen (XeqtR) - Bielenberg (Dark) - Ingemarsson (Potti) - Migotti (Xenon)

American top clans:
- Desire Discipline Dedication : 3D have skilled players with Ksharp and Rambo, but their teamplay is not the best one. They recently lost against DoP, but they can do a good event.
Line-up : Miller (KSharp) - Morgan (Bullseye) - Kim (Rambo) - Moore (Jaden) – Stromberg (Da_Bears) - Bell (SmEeZ)

- Domain of Pain : DoP are the winners of the last CAL-I, but time has gone and the line-up has changed.
Line-up : Demeter (Jako) - Balanos (original) - Doyle (exile) - Grempka (Morph) – Fontaner (Fontana) - marchant (sexualchocol33t) – Field (sniperxx)

- The Speakeasy Offensive : TSO have skilled players and nice teamplay, they are considered as the best us clan now. No doubt they can go top5.
Line-up : Geffon (moto) - Rooney (gza) - Scott (Swift) - Neville (quiksilver) - Cannon (Kane)

So keep eyes focused on Cow-boys land, matches will be awesome and really interesting.
