It happened to be interesting =) On Saturday me and my wife with Shane Tracey visited the Gorbushka software market. Did a full list shopping of trendy music. Yonderboi, De Phazz, New order, Moloko (remixes), Vanessa Paradis. Yoderboi was especially pleasant to me. Using well-known samples, the guy gives out a great sound! Also the cartoon Monsters Inc. was bought. I suspect that it's a screen copy - haven't watched it yet =). I was pleasantly surprised with the choicde of pirated DVDs - each month their amount grows, and prices become lower. They cost about 400-500 R. But actually, the quality isn't satisfactory and they're really spoiled with bad translations. There are still no Mouse Man Dual Optical mouse.
Then the girls were sent to a skating rink Dinamo to improve their skills. As for me, I went to work. It was strategically combined with shopping (I bought another pair of ECCO Track - my favorite shoes!). Then a gloomy and sleepy Aloner appeared in the office, and we decided to play Quake 3. Seeing that all in our office are playing now only with Logitech Mouse Man Dual Optical. New mouse rules not childly - and the game was a real pleasure. Aloner's rail and rocket are better, so it's very difficult to defeat him. Then Christina and Shane arrived with a cake (pre-ordered!), all contented after skating. =) Shane started translating news, and Christina was simply netsurfing... That's how the day passed.
Sunday. Wakeup at 4 pm and my wife's reproachful glances. Feeling a little guilty (what a cheeky fellow - sleeping so much!). Strategically do all homework like dishwashing, bringing the Christmas tree from the balcony, putting my room in order and go outside on my business...
Then my stepfather calls and says that he and mom shot a cool video at the military unit in Novgorod region where my cadet Leha has hung for already a month. They were at his military oath. Of course, I go on to watch how it all happened. All looks cool - the brother is happy with his drill and the army in general, and, according to relatives and officers he's swiftly changes for the better (he was a terrible hoologan and bonvivant before!). I'd like to hope that he won't spend these two years of service in vain. Memories swept over me about how I gave my military oath at the military gathering, when I got the stars of a reserve officer of sappers. I remembered it for life...
With my stepfather we had a bottle of Novgorodian vodka with ravioli, and I went home. The evening passed in reading Charles Bukowski's "Women". I stole it from my wife. Yeah, the book is strong, I read avidly half a volume in the evening. In brief, it's a biopic of an elderly American poet. Constant drinking, debauch and rare literary readings. A view of life through the prism of a permanent intoxication. Plus a language, very clear for gamers with abuses and other idiomatic expressions =). Recommended for reading...
As the evening curtain fell, I decided to re-watch a strongest movie "Rambo: The first blood". Shot a very long time ago - but how fresh it looks! Young Sylvester ruled like an adult! It's nice to re-watch old hits from time to time... Estets won't understand this, of course - but sometimes films like this really come in handy...
