Q3dm6tmp is similar to a standart q3dm6, but most of the items are replaced. For instance: Red Armor and Yellow Armor were switched places, Plasma Gun was replaced, and Lighting Gun was put on Plasma's place. Another newcomer is Grenade Launcher. And some health was replaced as well. Main thing at q3dm6tmp is Quad timing. Never forget about it. Second priority goes for Red Armor. The idea is easy: the team which controls Red Armor always gets Quad and wins 99% of a game. Try to get Red Armor control right after the game starts. Unlike q3dm14tmp that'll be not defence, but kind of preparing for attack. When you got the RA control try to get Railgun as well, which is very effective on this map.
After getting the Railgun, don't let the enemy kill you. He might come from a jump pad or a bridge. To defend the Railgun try to be in the middle of a path from jump pad to Railgun.
If you know that the enemy controls Railgun try not to show your face. If you have to leave the Red Armor jump down and quietly run away.
If the enemy controls Railgun try to get control over the Rocket Launcher, but don't show yourself on the bridge.
The best way to kill enemy at the Railgun is to go through the Lighting Gun and attack from the jumppad. Don't forget to ask your teammates to cover you from the bridge.
It is done by two players, while the rest two stay at the Red Armor. Another good thing to do is t time RL and LG. If everything is fine, your team should control the Red Armor, Railgun and, hopefully, the Rocket Launcher. Time to prepare yourself for Quad.
First one to come is the one from the Rocket Launcher. He looks and tells the teammates enemy location.
Second one waits near the higher Shotgun.
And the third one waits near the Lighting Gun.
In 10 seconds before the Quad spawn the one who waits near Shotgun comes out for Quad, then the one from the Lighting Gun. Your teammate at RL should cover you. If you need help during the Quad fight the one who controls Railgun should come out. He should jump down to the second floor and cover his teammates. If someone was killed in a Quad fight he should fall back to the Red Armor immidiatly. If you got the Quad the Quader should clean up the map. Never jump on a central jump pad! You might get railer or eat a rocket. Try to get to the second floor, but only if your team controls the Railgun. Otherwise you might get railed as well. However, the best thing to do is to get back to the Red Armor to help your teammates and take over the RL control. After that, attack the Railgun. If your teammates are spawnfragging enemy all over the map, defend the Red Armor.
If you've got Railgun you might as well rail people from the Red Armor in order to prevent them from doing something usefull for their team. You might rail those who jump up to Railgun or those who's running around Lighting Gun.
You can as well move closer to the Rocket Launcher and try to rail spawning enemy.
If the tactics above was used against your team first thing you should do is take over the Railgun and prepare for next Quad. Worst thing might happen to you is that your team only control Plasma Gun and the Yellow Armor. In that case you'll have to force enemy to fall back to the Red Armor. First one of your teammates should get Lighting Gun. Then try to control Rocket Launcher and only then attack the Railgun. After you finished, get the Quad and attack the Red Armor.
Don't forget to camp the pillars with the Railgun.
Camp the RL to RA path.
The rest two should wait under the Red Armor jump pad.
The one from RL attacks first, then those tho under the Red Armor jumps up with a jumppad (Quader jumps last). Railer covers his teammates. If you'ss success you'll get the control over the Red Armor area. After that force your oppenent to fall back to the Yellow Armor and spawnfrag the. Don't forget about Quad.
