q2dm5 is one of many teams' favorite maps for teamplay. The base for games on q2dm5 is taking of the quad, as you can clean up all the level with its help. The most important place to control is the room with the Chaingun - the last is especially good at q2dm5 - it knows no equal in water and on open spaces. If you took control over the red armor, after taking several of them, prepare yourselves for taking the quad. The best is to come to the quad in advance - if you hesitate and appear there during last seconds, you can give away easy frags. Come to the quad 30 seconds in advance, stand next to rotating device, get the Chaingun or Railgun out and wait. The quad is better be taken by three, while the forth player stays in the room with the red armor, so you won't lose control over it. After taking the quad, the best is to spread across the level and make frags. But this only in the case if your partner on the red armor doesn't ask you for help. If all's OK, go to take the Megahealth, then the Rocket above. After that you must return to the red armor, replacing the teammate, and sending him for another quad. Other two players also prepare for the quad, but before they must take the Rocket and Megahealth.
If all aforementioned is being used against your team, try to take the Rocket first, then don't let the enemy out of the room with the red armor.
Usually the enemy is in the room with the red armor preparing for the quad - you can wait for him in the water and catch him (just be careful not to suffocate).
Second player with the Rocket must stand on the elevator and try not to let the enemy out of it.
At the same time other two players can safely take the quad - the best is to let do this the one with Megahealth. Then you must take the red armor. Two swim from the water, the quader comes from the elevator, and the last player goes for the ROcket, as it will be required for taking the next quad.
