It’s on q3dm14tmp where the most interesting and strategic games happen, as this map is the best for teamplay. Except quad, there’s also Battle Suit on q3dm14tmp which slightly separates priorities in the game. The red armor still remains the most important, so you have to get control over it right from the start. If your team took the red armor at once, it’s important to build correct defense then. Defend the following passages:

The rest of players grab the red armor and Rocket. After strengthening the defense it’s necessary to take quad or Battle. At the beginning of the game concentrate your attention on both devices – 2 players go through the center for quad, but this should be done very carefully, as the enemy might make an entrapment.

Usually you manage to take only the first Battle without losses, as the enemy will most likely concentrate their efforts on taking quad.

Now about specific situations – if Battle spawns first, and you took it, go back to the red armor right away. If the quad is taken by the opponent, your teammates must as quickly as possible position to defend the passages and inform you about the quader’s movements. And you are to grasp the coming information as quickly as possible and try to kill the quader himself – he usually comes from the Shotgun passage. If your team has the first quad, two runeless players covered by the one with Battle must go back to the red armor, camp there, while quader must try to get control over the lower Rocket. The player controlling Railgun might be a good help for him. If all passed successfully, try to get as many frags as possible and don’t forget to defend the red armor.

Also quad often spawns first, and if you have it, go to Battle and help your teammates to take it. If the quad is ennemy’s, then 3 players must go to the Battle and try to take it, covering each other, and the last 4th player is to camp the red armor. Quader wil mosat likely go to Battle from the lower Rocket, so keep your eyes open.

If quad is yours, and Batlle belongs to the enemy, you need to organize a correct attack to the red: one player trying to force the enemy back as far as possible by the Shotgun passage, while two other players trying to come from Railgun and quader must jump on the red armor at the critical moment from the central jumppad. If all goes right, you’ll have the red armor – assign the approaches to it right away as the defense is the most important now. The farther game depends on the order of quad and Battle respawns. If you have the control over the red armor, don’t try to get the quad – you risk to lose both red armor and Battle, giving up many frags. It’s much more advantageous to safely take Battle and organize the defense against quad. Try to take Battle at the same time as quad or later maybe, as it’s undesirable to have an enemy quader running across the level at the moment when your Battle expires.

If the red armor is controlled by the enemy, organize the main passages’ defense first – don’t let the enemy spread all over the level.

Two remaining players must eat Rocket, Shaft and the yellow armor, coming at quad about 15 seconds before it spawns. If all’s fine, and you didn’t let the enemy to the quad, it's important now to make a pause and take the quad only after the enemy gets Battle. You can even wait 30 seconds until Battle expires, then take the quad and start preparing the attack to the red armor. Two players try to come from Railgun, one – through the Shotgun passage, and the quader is most likely to jump on the central jumppad or just wait until a teammate breaks enemy’s defenses, and then come through the same passage.
