Lexx: Hello, please introduce yourslef. Taker: Hi, my Name is Christopher Heil, Im 19 years old and I live in Germany.
Lexx: Please name your awards. Taker: Top 16 WCG 2003, 2nd in First German Championships and 4th at the EPS Finals (80 000 euro prize overall)
Lexx: A lot of people complain about Human's domination in WarCraft III: RoC, but Blizzard still don't want to fix it and released the Throzen Throne. What can you say about it? Did TT fix the whole unbalance thing, or you still want to fix something? Taker: TFT is much more balanced than roc, but still not perfect. But i think it will be ok if blizzard released the next patch for tft. I dont think that they will pay much attention to RoC in future, because no one will play it after the WCT 2003.
Lexx: You are one of the best players in Germany, please tell us about German WC3 scene. Taker: The german wc3 szene is a real big one and there are many good players who are able to beat every international top player.
Lexx: What is your internet connection and PC configuration? Taker: I use the standart Telecom DSL flatrate and my PC is currently based on a AMD 2600 mhz system with 512 ddr ram and a Geforce fx5800. I won mostly of my hardware stuff by winning serveral Tournaments.
Lexx: How long do you usually train? Taker: 1 till 4 hours and sometimes more before important things like wc3l league or big tournaments with prize money.
Lexx: What is your usual day like? Taker: A normal day consists of waking up for school, going to that and then come back home to play warcraft iii or to do things with my friends.
Lexx: Which tournament you remember the most? Why? Taker: WCG 2003 because of the Koreans and their attitude to Gaming
Lexx: How do you find Korea so far? Taker: Its really great to have the opportunity to be here and to feal how the koreans think about gaming. Further more its interesting to learnn about the korean culture and so on. All in all its really great being here.
Lexx: Do you think cybersport has future or no? What major changes will happen during next years? Taker: Yes i think so . Im looking forward to have a German attitude to gaming like the koreans have. It would be really cool to earning some more money through gaming , too :)
Lexx: What can you say about Russian WC3 scene? Taker: Not much because i only know Soul and orky, which are both good :)
Lexx: What can you say about team SK's politics and players changing their teams for money, does it remind you football transfers or they are just cheap whores? Taker: Yes it reminds me to football transfers and i must say that i disslike it because i prefer to play in clan for a longer time than only a half year or so. For myself, mTw is the second clan for my playing career since the release of StarCraft.
Lexx: Recently your team have won WarCraft III nations tournament (WC3L), but during the season you lost SK quite bad, but made a really successfull comeback in the final, what mistakes have you learned? Had the abscence of MadFrog and HemaN affected SK's performance? Taker: SK would have been better overall with players like madfrog and heman but i dont think that this was the main reason for their loss in the finals vs mTw. I think that SK really got enough high skilled players and it doenst really matter if they must play without these players. In Addition to this, our team was really in a good condition at the time of the Wc3l finals.
Lexx: Don't you think that Tillerman is rather overrated? Taker: I think that he had a great hype about his person at the time of the Warcraft iii RoC release. But it was hard for him to win more tourneys after a time of more good participating peoples.
Lexx: Any final shout outs? Taker: Yes, greetings to all who know and maybe like me and sorry for my bad english in that interview ;0
Lexx: Thanks |
