Lexx: First of all, could you please introduce yourself? What are your hobbies, activities, fave games, fave celebrities as well?
SnoiD: Well, I'm SnoiD, real name David, no hobbies 'cept going out and partying really... Not much else, I have 2 jobs, games, for the moment Serious Sam 1, otherwise Soldier Of Fortune 2. Over to you G :)
Big G: Hehe, ok, my real name is Gunther De Herdt, I'm 34 years old and live in Belgium. Hobby's are adrenaline chasing and throwing money away. Fav games are still quake3 and some Army Operations. Favourite celebrity.. Jenna Jameson?
SnoiD: My fav is Cameron D :)

Lexx: You are sort of Universal Pictures, Warner Bros and Paramaunt Pictures for gamers world wide, how did you come up with the idea to shoot various e-sport tournaments and how you met each other?
Big G: SnoiD is going to explain tha meeting thing :-)
SnoiD: Hehe, aiight. We were both in rival Quake2 clans, and we agreed on a war in a cybercafe, when we got there, most of the clanmates sat at the PC's and gamed, but me and G hit it off at the bar :)
As for OdB, that was the name of our 2on2 clan back then, we played Quake3 2on2 in the testversion. We rocked at DM17, had a lot of fun, kicked everyone's asses. But then the testversion wasnt test anymore and we got our asses kicked. It started because we went to the Barrysworld Eurocup...
Big G: Right
SnoiD: ...and G had a new cam and a mike he got free with it, so we were goofin' around with it, made a holiday movie more or less. But we released it and it became popular!
Big G: And then we got the idea to do that for real, go to a tournament to make a movie.

Lexx: What does OdB stand for?
SnoiD: Same as the rapper from Wu-Tang, Old Dirty Bastards, cuz we old, dirty and bastards :)

Lexx: What was the next tournament you decided to attend and why?
SnoiD: CPL Cologne
Big G: CPL Cologne?
SnoiD: Because it was within driving distance, really :)
Lexx: Ah, I remember that one, did you enjoy interviewing Russians (forZe)?
Big G: lol, we did :-)
SnoiD: We have always had trouble interviewing russians
Big G:  It were the first Russians we ever encountered :-)
SnoiD: The english is really bad and it pauses the conversation, learn some english dudes :)
Big G:  Yeah!

Lexx: How was CPL Staff reacting to two guys with camera and mic running around and bothering players?
Big G: Well.. They did'nt know, we sneaked in before they realised, we allready had press badges! And it was pretty easy to even interview Griff himself :-)

Lexx: Did you get a lot of offers to visit e-sports events after releasing these two movies?
SnoiD: Sure, we get loads of offers
Big G: Not realy
SnoiD: Hehe, we got a lot of offers, but we require transport and lodging, so most don't go through

Lexx: Tell me about your trip to Korea for Grand Final please; how did you come up with that idea, some interesting earlier unknown facts about famous gamers etc?
SnoiD: well,  I'm kind of lazy but G always pushes me to do some homework, and nights before we go I study forums and stuff of the clans and players.. We try to ask questions that are not uhm to obvious, we generally don't follow the games or the strategics, so we ask questions about what makes gamers tick.
Big G: Kind of?!
SnoiD: ..and write it down, all cuz he forces me, he abuses me! Spread the word!
Big G: The ppl who organise the dutch qualifiers for wcg asked us to select some belgian players for the benelux qualifiers. And they offered us a trip to Korea and make a movie for them. So basicaly we worked our ass of at the benelux qualifiers to be able to get in Korea :-)

Lexx: Okay, now it's time to bring light on that afterparty which was held in Players Village, go on, tell us secrets!
Big G:  Gamers and Party?
SnoiD: Korea was very dissapointing that way, the players werent allowed to do much so basically they just bought vodka and had a party on their rooms, but without girls or loud music :p
Big G: If we did not have to shoot some footage on that party, we surely would left for another place. The only guys realy havng a party where the Koreans. I guess it had something to do something with the music :-)
SnoiD: Koreans sure can party, but the players were kept too strict i guess.

Lexx: Do you plan releasing some sort of "WCG 2002: Unreleased" or "WCG 2002: XXX version"? Pay-per-view of course!
SnoiD:  We'll release an "OdB, Unsencored" one day, sure :)
Big G:  One day ... :-)
Lexx: I'll keep an eye on that one!

Lexx: You interviewed Koreans and Russians at WCG2k2, who made you laugh more? Everyone remembers that "I f#ck English" dude, as well as M19 :)
Big G: Thats a tricky question. Well the «I f#ck English» dude, he recognised me on the spot. He was holding a sign to line up the cs players, when he went like: OdB? I sawl all youl movies!!! I was stuned for a moment. So he was funny but I was very surprised to a Korean with good taste :-)
SnoiD: Koreans I guess, Russians are serious people, mostly, but koreans have this seriousness that's funny, you know, how they LIVE for games, how players are treated like gods and stuff.. We love interviewing people that dont have any experience with interviews or press, like Fatal1ty is a pro, which is boring, but new kids that win their first tournament are a lot more honest, they wont try to sneak a sponsor in, for instance :)
Big G: SnoiD face it .. the interviews ARE boring :-)


Lexx: What about Korean hookers? Did you really spent a lot of cash on them?
Big G: Next question! Where did u get this information ?
SnoiD: Who told?!
Big G: the interview is OVER !
SnoiD: We make it a point to visit the red light districts in all the major cities we come, it's a cultural thing :)
Lexx: Ah, which one was best so far then?
Big G: Who says we try them ? eh? We visit them :-)
Lexx: Did I say you try them? I just ask which one was prettier.
Big G: And Korean where most fun :-)
SnoiD: Korean red light district was the best, window after window off little asian girls in 'themes', like a school uniform window, a powerpuff window, nurses window etc etc.
Big G: It's called Yellow houses btw..

Lexx: Any events you plan to attend next?
BigG: We dont really plan ahead
SnoiD: Well, we go to all the major events in driving distance, or wherever they fly us in and give us a room, that's our price, the flight and a room.

Lexx: Did you try contacting organisers of CPL or WCG for being their partners?
SnoiD: Yeah, but we are press and press are assumed to have an 'editor' that pays for the trips, we have no output media exept our own, and besides, i'm to damn lazy to try really :p
Big G: Also, many ppl think we make money on this. Actually, OdB costed our both thousands off dollars, on trips, hardware, and of course expenses on the trips :-)
SnoiD: The money we've spend on drugs and booze, you can buy a house for that :p

Lexx: How did you come out with your logo? Who made it?
Big G: SnoiD!
SnoiD: Well, I've always liked a Clockwork Orange, it's about guys with total disregard for law, society, honour, respect. They're the ultra-rebels, besides from the whole raping thing of course, we don't approve of that *ahem*. But I like malcolm a lot, so the ACO logo came a part of our own :)
Big G: And i like the color :-)

Lexx: Do you get a lot of feedback? Do you enjoy it? What is the most common question?
Big G: Actually the most feedback is on the next event :-)
SnoiD: "What was the name of the song you used in this or that?" :)
Big G: I hate that queastion :-)
SnoiD: We get that daily :)
Big G: And the second one is to put more ingame footage in the movies
SnoiD: Oh yeah :)

Lexx: It seems that you've had a good time in Cannes, didn't you?
Big G: Cannes was indd ok, nice clubs. Never had a champage shower in a club before.

Lexx: SnoiD, please tell me the truth, why've you decided to go swimming nude? Was it after champage shower ? :)
SnoiD: Hehe, it was a dare, G dared me, and you can NEVER refuse a dare :p
Big G: I did? No, wait, its true! I dared him! But never thought he would actually do it :-)

Lexx: What was the best event so far for you guys?
Big G: For me personally, Korea, then goes LA. Korea is like a dream for any gamer, you realy have the feeling of beeing a popular guy in Korea when you are in to gaming. It was really cool to see those things.
SnoiD: E3 was, in LA, for me anyway

Lexx: Do gamers recognize you? Or you have to introduce first?
Big G: Some gamers do, some djeeshelp me out her. We never introduce ourselfs, only to the ppl we have to. We dont want to be the popular dudes u know :-)
SnoiD: On events everyone usually knows us.

Lexx: Name your Top 3 Movies ever?
SnoiD: Matrix, Starwars and Fightclub, and T2 :) (that's 4 actually /ed.)
Big G: Aliens, The Warriors, T2. Dont think anybody remebers the warriors tho..
SnoiD: I do :)

Lexx: Any funny accidents during your «work»?
SnoiD: Part from falling over pissdrunk, not really :p
Big G: So? That thingie with Amsterdam Wob I can't forget..
SnoiD: Oh my God! We swore never to tell it, remember G?
Big G: We did? Damn! Come on, it was a real funny accident :-)
SnoiD: Yeah but wob would object to us telling it :p

Lexx: Any other stories ? :)
SnoiD: Well, once we visited the bananabar in amsterdam, but we were so wasted.. I spent an hour with my head in the toilet and G fell asleep at the bar, with a naked woman standing overthim.
Big G: I was knocked out on a flying dildo!

Lexx: Let's talk about games a little, shall we? What games you prefer to spectate and why?
Big G: Quake3, because of the action. Somethimes a few rounds on cs, but I usualy get bored after that :-)
SnoiD: I don't spectate any games, spectating is boring..

Lexx: What about UT2003 and WC/SC?
Big G: I totaly dislike UT2003, WC and SC - I used to play them, I only like those games in MP.
SnoiD: Played warcraft single player, not multi. I hate UT2003.. Never played starcraft. The ONLY real game is Quake3 tho :)
Big G: But we prefer to play the games more than spectating them

Lexx: Do you believe that there's professional gaming scene outside Korea? And what is your opinion on professional gamers?
SnoiD: Sure, there's a professional gaming scene, the whole sponsorcircuit made it possible. Sure, gaming is still underground and sub-culture, but anything that can make money is professional, and not amature anymore.
Big G: Korea is much more evolved in Pro gaming, what I see in Europe are some tournaments. Korea is gaming 24/7.

Lexx: What web-sites do you usually visit? :)
Big G: None ? :-)
SnoiD: CNN, OdB, Google and comix sites.
Lexx: No porn?
SnoiD: Nope, I have plenty pron DVD's at home :)
Big G: About 1500..
